Testimony: Live Logic — last updated 20 August 2026
Testimony has no account, no sign-in and no analytics, and we do not run a server: the game itself sends us nothing about you. The one exception is advertising, and it only happens when you choose to watch an advert in exchange for a hint.
Nothing. We operate no server, no analytics library and no crash reporter, and there is no code in the game that reports anything back to us. We cannot see your progress, your settings or how you play.
The game is fully playable offline. With no network connection it behaves identically, except that adverts — and therefore the hints you can obtain by watching one — are unavailable.
The game saves your progress locally so it is still there next time you open it:
This stays on your device. It is never transmitted, and nobody but you can read it. Deleting the app deletes it permanently; there is no backup and no way for us to restore it.
The app is suitable for all ages. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no social feature and no link out of the game other than an advert. We collect nothing from anyone, children included.
Where the law requires it for younger users, adverts are requested as non-personalised, which means they are chosen without using an advertising identifier to profile the viewer.
The advertising provider described above is the only third party the app talks to. There is no analytics provider, no cloud service and no other SDK that transmits anything. Apple and Google collect their own information about app downloads under their own policies, which we neither control nor receive.
Hints in Testimony are earned by playing. As an additional way to obtain one, you may choose to watch a short video advert. This is always your choice: nothing in the game is locked behind an advert, no advert is ever shown without you asking for it, and declining costs you nothing but the hint you did not take.
Adverts are delivered by Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) and the advertising networks it works with. To select and measure an advert they may process a device advertising identifier, coarse device and network information such as your device model, operating system version, language and approximate region, and whether the advert was shown, completed or clicked. That processing is governed by their privacy policy rather than by this one; see Unity’s player privacy policy.
We do not receive this data, and we do not combine anything from adverts with your progress in the game — the game holds no identifier to combine it with.
On iOS, iOS asks for your permission before any app may use a tracking identifier. If you decline, adverts still work; they are simply less targeted. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Settings, under Privacy or Google → Ads.
If you never watch an advert, no advertising SDK request is made on your behalf beyond what is needed to have an advert ready.
Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to access or delete. The data on your device is under your control and is removed completely when you delete the app. For anything the advertising provider may hold, the rights request goes to them; their policy is linked above.
If a future version of the app collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. The store listing's privacy declarations will be updated at the same time.
